Meet Stan
As a fifth-generation professional rodeo athlete, Stan continues to keep the Branco name alive and well in the rodeo arena as an All Around Cowboy competing in the Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, and Team Roping. The Chowchilla, California cowboy is married to Professional Breakaway Roper, Kate Branco and Dad to Riggs and Kayce Jane. When he isn't competing, Stan is working as a farrier and coaching bulldogging clinics.
After a successful 2023 rodeo season, Stan qualified for his second National Finals Rodeo. He finished the 2023 season 12th in the World Steer Wrestling standings after several large rodeo and round wins throughout the year. It was a successful NFR for Stan, securing a fourth-place finish in the World Standings with $254,393 in season earnings and finishing fifth in the average with 62.4 seconds on ten head.
